In the last few week we have seen a major shift in social contact which greatly effects the way most of us work in our businesses.  During these challenging circumstances, it may be more difficult than usual for your business to support its employees and communicate with customers.

So I have put together some recommendations and resources that can help you communicate with your clients, customer and employees using digital platforms.

There are some easy and free tools that can help you stay connected with your customers and employees. To take advantage of them you will need to create a Facebook business Page, an Instagram business account and a WhatsApp business profile for your business.

These free online accounts can serve as digital shopfronts for your business, and will allow you to stay connected with your customers and employees anywhere, any time.

Staying connected with your customers and employees

Live videos are a great way to proactively educate your customers on changes to business. You can post live videos and stories on Facebook and Instagram, host virtual events to show your customers how you’re actively keeping your premises and products safe, and answer customer enquiries about how your business will continue to support its customers.

I have seen a lot of businesses already using these platforms with some amazing results.  Don’t forget to be creative and have some fun.  Everyone is in the same boat here – this is not a time to give up, but instead a time to get to know your clients and customers, and for them to get to know your products and services better.

Click on the below links to learn more about going live on Facebook and Instagram, and how Events can support live video.  You will need to create a profile for both platforms first, see above how to do this.
